This photo shows the beginning stages of the France painting.  The reflective areas were also blocked in and the painting was turned upside down to paint those areas.  The wavy lines of the water were put in last. I will be sharing these techniques in my Adult Thursday night classes.  Painting water can be intimidating for new painters.  Step by step instructions will be given and students will bring their own photographs with reflections.

This painting was painted with love for one of my favorite girlfriends.  They have traveled as a family to many places.  I painted this from a photograph to match the colors in their beautiful new home in Clemmons, NC.
